Your next training step
The MEDIC FIRST AID AED Supplement is designed to teach the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) when responding to a person experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death in occupational settings. A defibrillator is the only definitive treatment. AEDs are used prior to arrival of EMS and are an integral component of the Chain of Survival. The first few minutes of care are critical for someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
In addition to the MEDIC FIRST AID AED course featuring a variety of defibrillators, we offer the following device-specific courses:
- Philips FR2+ Automated External Defibrillator
- Medtronic PHYSIO-CONTROL® LIFEPAK 500
